Goldie a brit elektronikus zene egyik alappillére. Felfrissítette a drum'n'bass stílust breakbeates, soulos hangulattal és létrehozott egy sajátos hangzásvilágot. A lágyabb, akusztikus gitárdallamokat tartalmazó számok mellett Diane Charlemagne hangja tökéletesen illik ehhez a zenéhez. Elektronikus mivoltjukhoz képest a dalcímeket olvasva és a zenét hallva, a változatos hangzásokkal megfűszerezett dallamok szinte történeteket mesélnek.

Goldie is a keystone in the british electronic scene. He refreshed drum'n'bass with moods of break-beat, soul and created an individual sound. Mop Mop művésznéven ismert olasz zenész, zenei producer és dalszerző hipnotikus jazz, funky és főleg soullal mesél füleinknek. Egy szipka társaságában, elegánsan rophatunk bármikor erre az afro és latin hatásoktól átitatott zenére. A lemezen szereplő zenészek szaxofon, vibrafon, zongora, basszus és dob játékukkal siklanak végig stílusosan a pár évtizeddel előtti időket felidéző hangulatokon.

Antoine Dufour - Sound Pictures (2011)

A félig francia, félig kanadai származású Antoine Dufour a Don Ross, Andy McKee és jó maga alkotta szuperhármas közé tartozik, aki a Sound Pictures lemezén újra megmozgatja fantáziavilágunkat a fantasztikus fingerstyle játékával. Nagyon hallatszik a lemezen, hogy sokat turnézott együtt másik két társával, mert jócskán érezhető az ő hatásuk is az albumon, amely által egy csodálatosan változatos lemezt hallgathatunk.

I can mainly describe the band as bare honesty and purity. Their songs and themselves are surrounded by beautiful melodies and catharsis. One by choise would just close their eyes and let themselves float with the songs together into the corner of their conscience full of unknown extasy.

A müncheni trió nem kímél minket az ősi naturalitást igéző zenéjével. Egyszerű transzba ejtő hangzásukat a hosszabb, inkább instrumentálisnak mondható darabok jellemzik. Előfordulnak törzsi daloknak tűnő énekdallamok és néhol felbukkanó szitárhangok melyek némi spirituális érzést kölcsönöznek a zenének.

The trio from Munich doesn't spare us with its ancestral naturalism enticing music. The longer instrumental pieces typify their simple sounding which leads to a trance. Some vocal melodies that have an ancestral touch and the sometimes occuring sitarnotes give the music a bit of a spiritual mood.

Avishai egy izraeli nagybőgős, aki a jazz klasszikus vonalát képviseli, mégis populáris hangzásúak a dalai. I count Erik Mongrain to the top acoustic guitar players, e.g. among with Don Ross. His genius technique allows him to compose songs with stunning rhythms and melodies. He is one of the best, if not the best lap tapping guitarist I know, which you can see in the video below.

A legváltozatosabb lemeze az együttesnek. Alapjáraton követik a jól megszokott tipikus Alter Bridge receptet hangzás és a számszerkezetekben. Egyszerűen nem tudnak félrenyúlni, amikor súlyosodnia kell a zenének melldöngetős riffek áradnak felénk, hogy a végén egy isteni énektémával kísért refrénben katarzisba essünk. Myles Kennedy számomra az egyik legkülönlegesebb rockénekes, aki mindig el tud varázsolni.

The most diverse album of the band. Substantially they follow the habitual Alter Bridge formula in the sound and song structure. They just can't go wrong with that, when they need to get heavy breastbanging riffs are confronting us, so at the end we can fall in catharsis with godly vocals in the chorus. Myles Kennedy is one of the most special rock singers, who can always enchant me.

Ha világzenéről van szó, ez a québeci trió a mostani zenék közül az egyik kedvencem. Tökéletes harmóniában van a gitárok a hegedű és a fuvola játéka egymással. Ahhoz képest, hogy leginkább instrumentális számoknak tudná az ember az effajta muzsikát elképzelni, igenis eltalálták az énekdallamokat. A folk, a tradicionális, de még a kelta népzenét is érintve skáláznak végig könnyeden, vidáman más népek kultúrzenéjén is. Képzeljen el mindenki egy kis vidéki kunyhót egy hintaszékkel a teraszon ezt a zenét hallgatva.

When it comes to world music, this trio from Quebec is one of a kind. The guitars, the violin and the flute are in perfect harmony. Richie Kotzen - Peace Sign (2009)

Egy vérbeli zenésszel van dolgunk Richie Kotzen személyében. A Peace Sign a 20. szólólemeze melyen bőven megjelenik a blues alapokon tomboló vidám funky. Mégis a rock stílus dominál az albumon. Az egyik legjobb gitárosról van szó, aki a lemezen maga írta és játszotta fel az dobot, a basszussávokat, de még az éneket is. Többek között a Poison és a Mr. Big ideiglenes tagjaként lehet ismerni.

Richie Kotzen is one of the best multi-talendet musicians. Peace Sign was his 20th solo album, where he plays funky rhythms with basic blues. Still is rock the dominating style on this piece. Not only was he recording the guitar tracks on this album, he also played the bass, the drums and the vocals too. You may know him as former the guitarist of Poison or Mr. Big.
Nothing shows more that he is a real musician than his on state: "Touring and making music is my life. It is all I have ever done. I am very grateful to all the people around the world who have made that possible."

Chris Joss - Dr. Rhythm (2002)

Egy francia több hangszeren játszó DJ-ről van szó. Dr. Rhythm lemezén sokszínű elektro számokat kreál grooveos funky dallamokkal, break-beates ütemekkel és jazzes aláfestésekkel. A chillesebb hangulatot keresők egyaránt megtalálják a lemezen, a feszesebb témák mellett a nekik valót. Egy változatos, mégis hangulatban, stílusban egységes albumot rakott össze Chris Joss.
